He finished 6th in the race to claim the top spot by 66 points from Jon Montgomery of Canada who finished second and 67 points from Zach Lund from the USA who finished third.

 | British Skeleton Announce World Championships Squad European and World Cup champion, Kristan Bromley, will lead the British challenge at this year’s Bob Skeleton World Championships, which take place in Altenberg, Germany from February 21-23. Victory would crown a superb season for Bromley, who finished fifth in the Olympic Games in 2006 and will be bidding to become the first British slider to take the World Championship.

Kristan Bromley led the way with a silver in the men's event, just missing out on gold by four hundredths of a second. Amy Williams took the other medal, a bronze in the Womens event.
