Performance Director & World Class Podium Squad Coach Andreas is one of the most successful bob-skeleton athletes in history. Winning the 1993 World Championship in La Plagne in 1993 was the highlight of his career.
He was appointed Head National Coach for British Skeleton for the 2002 Olympic season and guided Alex Coomber to the Bronze medal in Salt Lake City. After the Games, Andreas returned to his business consultancy company, but remained a part time advisor to British Skeleton.
In November 2004, Andreas was appointed as the BBSKA’s first Director of Coaching on a part time advisor basis and following the sucess of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games he was appointed Performance Director for British Skeleton filling Simon Timson's shoes. |
