Adam wins Intercontinental Cup silver in Calgary

Britain’s Adam Pengilly won his first medal of the season when he took silver in the Intercontinental Cup race in Calgary, Canada, which took place overnight UK time.
Pengilly, silver medallist at the World Championships last season, finished runner-up to John Daly of the USA.
Britain's Ant Sawyer came eighth and Chris Type ninth.
In the women’s race, Sarah Sydney achieved her highest Intercontinental Cup finish to date, coming eighth. Donna Creighton finished 10th.
There is a further Intercontinental Cup race at Calgary tonight (Friday) and the last race of the series this season is at Park City, USA on Friday 22nd January.
