Record Entry At The British Championships And Inter Services Competition

Bromley Crowned World Champion
Britain’s Kristan Bromley clinched the men’s bob skeleton World Championship today at Altenberg in Germany and in doing so made history as the first person to hold the World Championship, European Championship and World Cup titles in the same season.

British Skeleton Announce World Championships Squad
European and World Cup champion, Kristan Bromley, will lead the British challenge at this year’s Bob Skeleton World Championships, which take place in Altenberg, Germany from February 21-23. Victory would crown a superb season for Bromley, who finished fifth in the Olympic Games in 2006 and will be bidding to become the first British slider to take the World Championship.

Kristan Crowned Overall World Cup Champion
Kristan Bromley was crowned overall World Cup Champion on Friday at the final World Cup race of the season in Winterberg, Germany. He finished 6th in the race to claim the top spot by 66 points from Jon Montgomery of Canada who finished second and 67 points from Zach Lund from the USA who finished third.

Williams 5th In Konigssee
Amy Williams continued her run of good results in the FIBT Skeleton World Cup today, Friday 1st February when she came 5th in the Womens race in Koniggsee, Germany. Maggie Davies came 17th with the race being won by Katie Uhlaender.

Kristan Bromley today won the 6th World Cup of the season in St Moritz, his first win of the season and took the overall lead in the World Cup Standings

Kristan Bromley - European Champion
Britain’s Kristan Bromley completed a hat-trick of Bob Skeleton European Championship titles in Cesana, Itlay on Friday 18th January with team-mates Adam Pengilly winning bronze and Ant Sawyer just missing out on the medals in fourth.

World Cup Calgary - Great Start To The Season
The British Skeleton Team got off to the best possible start to the season when they secured two medals at the opening World Cup Race of the Season in Calgary, Alberta. Kristan Bromley led the way with a silver in the men's event, just missing out on gold by four hundredths of a second. Amy Williams took the other medal, a bronze in the Womens event.
